Hello there, First time builder here.
I'm looking to make a cool running entry level gaming rig that allows me to hop on steam, run some emulators, and be a HTPC to replace the cluttered mess of boxes below my TV.
I've spent some time looking into parts and this is the build I was considering, but wanted to get an experts opinion on my shopping cart before I took the plunge.
CPU: Intel Pentium G3258
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212
Mother Board: ASRock H97M PRO4 Micro ATX
RAM: Crucial Ballistix Sport 8gb
Storage: Samsung 840 Pro 128GB/Western Digital Blue 1TB
Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB Superclocked
Power Supply: Rosewill Fortress 550w
I'll be added an external optical drive and my old copy of Windows 7. Is there anything else I should consider?
