Hi guys, my card finally came yesterday, good news is that i don't have to worry about BF4 crashing on me much, bad thing is that i am getting bad performance out of the graphics card... I previously owned a Sapphire 6870 HD 1GB card, during the last time i played a piece of BF4, it was during the beta and my old Sapphire 6800 series card ran fine, but yes i knew that was just a beta, and doesn't mean that the final game would perform like that vice versa. I've tested the game @ medium settings and i am getting an embarssing 20+ FPS, guys could this be an issue with AMD drivers maybe and simply wait for a new driver to be released?

I've also noticed something very weird i've went to canyourunit.com and it shows that it's a 1GB graphic card but on the box and everywhere else states that it's a 2GB card? I've gotten very confused about the whole thing, guys not to worry i have my new system specs listed at the bottom of the post

Had to test DayZ[mod] and ArmA II i've been in empty areas and i am getting frame rates around 94FPS / High settings, but silly me i've should of just waited and tried to get lucky and find a DayZ server to test it on.. but with my old card with a setup like that i would get a laughable 9FPS.. So any of you guys have this graphic's card oh! and i forgot that i have a PCI Express X16 2.0 slot maybe this is what is causing the jittery performance?

that gpu scores less than your hd 6870, why did yaste your money on that crap. to check how many gb you got, just download and install this: http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/2452/techpowerup-gpu-z-v0-8-1/
that card is a low end one, how much did you pay for it? your psu can handle way more. if you dont have the budget then simply buy a used card with warranty left. i got a gtx 660 ti with 8 months of warranty left for 60$ with shipping.

ps: till the 300 series comes out, stay away from amd, bad drivers, random fps drops, cheap performance for cheap money.

Hey buddy thanks for replying, sorry about that, yes it's a 2GB card, really i needed a video card ASAP my 6870 was dying fast, and the noise level dude
my lady came by the house one day with my system on and she thought it was a lawnmower, so i'll probably just get another card in the future, really low on cash, thank you for replying BigChees3, i am going to look into re-installing the drivers can't remember if i downloaded a beta driver from AMD homepage ugh..
Also i'll keep that in mine dude have a good one!

Thanks Coolboy951

Well it's no turning back now, i'll just have to use the card i just purchased and pick up another one
next month. Can't use my old 6870 from after hearing how the card performs and random restarts,
really needed a card even though for this temporary use, i use my computer everyday for work and all.
But i really appreciate it guys you've really helped me out.

yeah but the reason its turning off is due to PSU not being able to handle it
