No, stick with Intel for now. Unfortunately, AMD has been unable to step up in high end CPU's, so their CPU's are noticeably weaker than Intel's for most games. The i5 we listed will beat or match the 8350 at almost every game.

I didn't choose a case, since I think that's a personal choice. One could choose parts with more power, but I chose parts that emphasize quality for longevity. I also didn't use mail-in rebates, since I don't like them, but you could save on the PSU and graphics card if you don't mind them.

Yeah, I just went for the 1866MHz memory (why not for $3? :p) and my graphics card also doesn't use a MIR, aside from being slightly higher end. Other than that, pretty darn similar. Either is a good option, depending on how close OP wants to get to $700.

That's a powerful card, however it requires 750w power supply?
And would they all perform well with a amd 8320 fx?

Thank you for the quick response. Appreciate it :D

I think it could still even handle a 8350. 125W (CPU) + 250W (GPU) = 375W, and that's based on TDP, which we're unlikely to ever reach in practice. We still have plenty of headroom for the rest of the system there, and the XFX is made well enough to handle the load.

Remember manufacturers suggest much higher capacity PSU's because some people use crap PSU's. You don't need a 750W unit if you use a good quality unit.

Nice.
So will pairing an amd processor with a amd gfx give better performance? Does it have any cons when we pair a intel processor with a amd gfx?
