I need a processor, graphic card. I would mainly use this for gaming so suggest a gaming unit.
Thanks for your help in advance. :)

As i dont have enough options with this low budget i would add a more 100$ for the rig.

It would be possible to buy a CPU and a GPU for $200, however perhaps not the best option. Perhaps for $200 an APU would be the wiser choice. An APU is essentially a CPU with integrated graphics - and you can find some Intel or even AMD CPU's with integrated graphics sufficient for mild to moderate gaming.

However, since a normal GPU has its own dedicated memory and an APU does not, the APU's performance will be reliant upon the DRAM in your system. Better quality and a decent quantity will make the APU perform better.

If you like that idea, I will suggest some APU's. The other option is to wait and see what the other forum members can come up with.

BigBadBeef raised an important question...

Do you have an existing Motherboard and RAM you will use, or will you be basing those future purchases on the recommended CPU/GPU?

I wouldn't recommend and APU unless somebody who is building one knows what they're doing. Get the wrong motherboard and it won't work to its peak performance. Stack ram from different manufacturers even if they are the same speed - same problem. Warned my cousin, he bought the cheapest mobo he could find... now he's unable to OC or to raise the reserved memory for video.

No offense, the OP sounds like one of those who is not quite sure what he's doing.

Besides, what I proposed is faster.

I will agree that your suggestion is the superior option. However, my experience with APU's has been quite enjoyable and I've even manged to get decent performance out of, relatively, cheap Intel processors, I did overclock though to reach that performance mark.

Having said that, I fully support your suggestion as the best one yet. (Granted he has an Intel board, as you pointed out.)

Even though I am not a big fan of AMD GPU's, I agree 100% if he does indeed have an Intel mobo

Why thank you, I take my inspiration from George Carlin:

So... OP, we told you our possible configs, now tell us what's your plan?
