Hello guys,
I'll be straightforward on this one: I have an older computer that doesn't boot anymore so I decided to take its HDD and plop it in my new one to re-fromat it and reinstall an OS and here's my problem:
This has a Core 2 Duo E4600 @ 2.4 Ghz so it's already quite slow and on an ASUS P5B SE mobo. Can I install multiple copies of Windows 8 off a single DVD and if yes, will the computer even support it? Sorry if the question is stupid but I don't know much about latest software running on 8 year old hardware :D

Thanks for a blitzing fast answer from you, awesome Tom's community!

Solution
You can use the CD for as many machines as you want, you can only use the product license key for one machine and one machine only!

Win 8 will work on your old hardware

Yes and no-
The actual disk is the media- The media is useless without the key, so to install windows 8 on multiple computers, you have to buy multiple license keys.

Sorry!

Ok so I don't have another product key. Can I install the 64-bit version of it?

It's ok now, the PC boots much much faster(well, it must because it wasn't booting at all before the hard wipe...)
Thank you guys! I have another issue though so if you can help, look forward to my other post because this one's title will be misleading.
