Hello all, I'm not really having a problem as such but more just interested. I have an Acer C720 chromebook with a croot running ubuntu 14.04 trusty and I noticed the other day when system monitor was open that about ever 2 second I receive between 50 to 300 bytes and send between 5 and 30 bytes of data on the wireless lan.
My question is, is this normal? I know bit about debian based linux but I'm far from an expert. I know system monitor isn't exactly accurate and I'm fairly certain it's just picking up ARP packets but I would prefer a second opinion.
