Can't launch UEFI on Asrock z97 extreme 4

Hi please help me I can''t launch my UEFI with this motherboard when I use the app and restart it only gives me a blank screen? I want to launch it because I have a mouse and earphones that is usb powered with led's and the led's never go's off when the computer is shutdown so I want to disable usb power when shut down.

What are you using for a monitor and how are you connected to it? UEFI uses a fixed 1280x1024 resolution that some HDTVs don't support, especially over HDMI. Try a different monitor and/or connection.

ok I tried a different connection and it works but I can't seem to find the eup or erp settings to disable the usb's when shut down?
