First off, I am 100% sure the graphics card or software relating to the graphics card is the problem. I have swapped it over with a friends and my computer will work fine with his GPU but his will not work fine with my GPU.

I have used driver sweeper and re-installed up to date drivers.

I can not play games like Dungeon defenders, Skyrim Planet explorers without the game constantly freezing. However I can play Far Cry 3 and Armor 3 with little to no problems. Does this point out what the problem may be?

My graphics card is a GTX 660 2GB OC edition

Thanks for reading.

I would call the manufacturer of your video card.
Video card issues have many different odd ways they can manifest.

I had one that caused windows media player to crash when I played anything MPEG-1. Put a new card in and the problem was gone.

Test the suspected card in your friends computer.

first of all get a graphics monitoring software so you can see how much graphics memory you are using in the games. if the laggy games use a lot that may be your graphics. If not try reinstalling drivers
