Ok so I was trying to type something in on my url bar on chrome and it kept on deleting itself at random times. Now I've noticed it sometimes closes a tab in open right away for no reason but I haven't paid much attention to it. I restarted my pc just now and got this http://i.imgur.com/pwZjrjL.jpg Its really freaking me out as before it was a different symbol and one time it was a smiley face. I have no idea how to fix this and restarting has no results.
I think I've been infected by a virus could someone please help me?

Do you have an AV program? Have you ran it? After doing that then run Malwarebytes and HiJackThis. Go to the HJT forum and have one of thepeople there walk you through what yoou log shows and what else you need to do to fix it. Stay away from torrents and shaky sites and quit d/l'ing things from shady sites or people.
