Problem with r9 280x?

Hey guys! read a lot on internet that don't go for msi r9 280x gaming 3g BF4 edition it'll fry your motherboard Is this true? I have msi h61m-p20 G(3) motherboard, will it go good with this card or my motherboard will be follow same fate?

What is your PSU? GPU won't have a negative affect on the system unless it wants to pull more power then your system can. Also, the GPU will be fine if your PSU is of decent quality too.

It's not the best but it will be ok for you to run the 280x. It meets the requirements but isn't a high quality PSU. But that doesn't mean you should not get the 280x
