Buying extra RAM, need help with compatibility.

So a few months ago I had some issues with one of my RAM sticks, so I removed it and it solved my issues. I had 2x4GB Corsair Vengance DDR3 RAM, the specific sticks are linked here.

So it has left me with only 4GB of RAM and I'm looking to upgrade to some more. Since money is a problem, I was wondering whether or not just purchasing another 2x4GB set of the same RAM would be compatible, taking me up to a modest 12GB of RAM.

I'm currently running Windows 7 Home Premium (64bit) and using this motherboard.

Any advice on this topic would be greatly appreciated. I understand that there are specific requirements when mixing RAM and I'm fairly certain that there wouldn't be any problems in doing this, but thought I'd run it by you all first.

Thanks!

You can try, there are no guarantees the new 2x4GB will play with your old stick, even if you get the exact same model, that being said, if there is problems with the new and old playing together, give me a shout and we can try adjustments, I'm generally pretty successful in getting different DRAM to play if the specs are the same or close (i.e. if you have 1600 and buy 2400 sticks don't have your hopes real high ;) it's possible, but sets that match up spec wise is the best probability
