I tried to boot up my Asus computer this morning and received a big red ERROR message. At the top it says [diskpart/sX:\Tools\FormatScript7f2d.txt]meet error!!
When I called Asus customer support I was told I would have to buy a recovery disk from their AsusE store. I was hoping for another...possiblly free solution. Can anyone help?

Be aware that any factory reset will wipe all data from your HDD so if you need any files back them up to external media first. See if a friend or family is running the exact same version you have so you can attempt a repair install from the cd. If that fails then try a full install with the product key on the side/back of your case. The MS link in the sticky at the top of the 7 forum seems to be hit or miss as to whether you can d/l an ISO but is worth a shot. http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2554518/microsoft-official-download-site-window7-isos.html
