I've been looking into the GeForce GTX 900 series and i am thinking of picking up a 970.
Current Build: http://
What i want to know is
1) Should i go with the 970 and if so what manufacturer should i choose?
2) Can i do SLI with my old GPU and the new one or do i need 2 of same series?
3) How big is the diffrence between the 960 and 970? I know the 960 has had some issues lately with the specifications being inaccurate or something.

All recommendations are appreciated and any advise/tip for my build will also be looked over and considered. Thank You

Hi there,

Definitely recommend the 970. It considerably more powerful than the 960. (explains the price hike!)

EVGA, MSI, GIGABYTE, ASUS, are all good manufacturers. I personally like the ASUS STRIX and it's a good overclocker.

You can't SLI two different GPUs unfortunately.

Depending on what GPU you currently have you could always keep it in there and use it as a physx card. No idea if that'd be a good idea or not, but it's possible. Physx cards don't need to be the same series.
