So I am trying to overclock my MSI R9 270x 4gb oc edition. This is my first time overclocking any gpu. The settings I have so far in after burner are as follows.

- core voltage +100 (fluctuates randomly from 1266,1273,1281,1297)
- power limit +20
- core clock 1250 MHz
- memory clock 1400 MHz
- fan speed 50 %
- temperature sits at 63 c after hours in unigine heaven
My question is should I continue raising the core clock until I reach its limit? Is the voltage too high for my card? At this setting would my card be damaged if ran any longer?

The stock clocks on my card are 1080 MHz core and 1400MHz memory and if I use the MSI Gaming App and set it to OC mode the core clock goes up to 1120 MHz and the memory stays the same so I don't think I underclocked it.

No, like mine is usually at:

API: Direct X 11
Quality : Ultra
Tessellation : Extreme
Anti-Aliasing : x8

What are your settings? 1080p is a given but the others are not.

P.S. My score is 1436 at 57.0 FPS and 60c temps. Kinda wondering what yours is.

With those I would say yes try pushing your clock and voltage a little more. I would try to keep my temps in the 70-80s. I would keep your voltage under 1.3 volts. One of the questions is will the card let you push the voltage up that high? Some of these cards had a cap on the voltage not letting you go much over 1.2 volts. You might have to flash the bios to go higher.
