Thanks for your reply but it left me totally confused,enthusiastic pros and enthusiastic cons ,best I leave it until I know more about what I'm doing.
The best thing for you to do then is to read up a little bit more until you feel comfortable enough that trying to make changes doesn't feel so scary or confusing. Windows itself can be intimidating enough that tackling issues with the PC itself can seem daunting.
Feel free to ask anything you want. We may all be able to learn something from an answer that someone else provides. That is one of the best features of a help board such as this here at TH.
