So I bought a mid case, thinking my motherboard would fit the case but it did not (I'm an idiot, somewhat new to things). Returning the case real soon, but I need help choosing a case. My assumptions are I will need a mini case but any help choosing would would be very helpful.

Edit The motherboard did not fit perfectly into the case screw holes, the case's screw holes were a bit wider than expected

Crucial Ballistix Sport 8gb kit (4gb x 2)

Crucial MX100 256gb SSD

Sapphire Radeon R9 280 3gb

MSI ATX DDR3 LGA 1150 Mobo Z97 (already have Mobo and CPU together) Edit I don't really know where to get the
size of the case but the dimensions are 13.9 x 10.6 x 3.3 (in inches). It seemed to me (from the information I received) that the mobo was ATX.

Intel Core i7-4790

EVGA 600B 80Plus Bronze Certified ATX 12V/EPS12V Active PFC 600W Power Supply

WD Blue 1TB Internal Hard Drive

Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo - CPU Cooler 120mm

Samsung Ultra-Thin Optical Drive
Any help on any case suggestions would be helpful and appreciated. Thank you very much and have a good day!
Edit For those who were wondering what case I bought NZXT S340 Mid Tower Case

I pretty sure you could fit that motherboard in that case. More than one or two holes. Are you sure you...

You mentioned your motherboard is ATX size then yes, it will fit.

I don't see why you couldn't fit your build in the NZXT S340 case though? You don't really need a new case unless you want to keep the optical drive in your pc.
What is the model name for your motherboard?
You can find it with the manual and it is on the motherboard itself.

This would be my motherboard, and the mobo did not fit into the case's screw holes. My friend suggested that I would want to be able to have the mobo fit into most, if not all of the holes. The mobo only fit in one, maybe two but did not feel safely secured.

You don't really need to get a new case.
