Hello, I just finished my pc build around a week ago, and tonight the computer started up on its own, and when i check my cam software it showed my cpu was at 150 degrees Fahrenheit. I was wondering what could have made my cpu be heating up while the computer was off and if there is a way to can fix it. I was thinking it might have something to do with my Grid+ i have to control the fans or the external disk drive i have plugged in, but I don't know enough to be sure. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

It's possible that you have Wake Lan Enabled through your BIOS. Also it's a possibility that your fan controller has something to do with it try unplugging that. The only way that the CPU could be producing heat is if it was active.

Thank you for the help, i managed to find out the issue after playing with some settings. I'll try to explain what I did to help others with this issue.
After confirming that it wasn't haunted I found out the thing causing my computer to start up was Intel Smart Connect, I first uninstalled it and deleted the drivers, but it was still turning on. I had to explore the settings in my bios to find the smart connect and disable it from there, it hasn't done it since then.
