What's the "Crossfire Cable" that came with my R9 270X?

Title is pretty much self explantory. I have no clue what this cable does or what it is, anyone got some information on it for me? - Much appreciated

Assuming you are referring to the Crossfire Bridge, that is used to connect two Crossfire-able cards together so they may work in conjunction with each other; giving you approximately *160% of the processing power of just one graphics card.
