Hello,

I am posting a lot on here lately, apologies! But my question is how/what could I upgrade to ensure a better gaming performance with this build? I've upped my budget to £620, and these parts so far come to about £500, which gives me an extra £120 to spend preferably on a better CPU or GPU.

I would really appreciate some suggestions! It would be great if a part you suggest is available on Amazon UK too.

Thank you!

As far as GTX760 vs. GTX960, I'd take the GTX960 if only because it's newer, although you may find a great deal on a GTX760. As to GTX960 vs. R9 280 (or R9 280X), look at benchmarks of the [types of] games you play. Some will favor nVidia's architecture, some AMD's. Lately, nVidia has had the better drivers, but that goes back and forth and could change. NVidia definitely uses less power.
Are future upgrades a possibility? If they are, I'd get a Z97 mobo to prepare for a CPU upgrade, and get a R9 280 or GTX960. Keep the Pentium until it can't handle whatever game you want to play then upgrade that.
If not, then I'd get an i3 and the R9 280 or GTX960.

Future upgrades certainly are a possibility, however that may be in a few years when I'm working, as I'm currently only a student, living in a budget world :)

I think for now I may use the money to upgrade the GPU, as ASmith426 said. I was having a look at the Asus Nvidia GeForce GTX 760, which looks pretty good. Would you recommend?

Update: they're a very similar price, so which is better - 760 or 960?

They are very similar cards, the 960 is better on paper.I cant speak on it, Ive only used the 760 myself, but it was a great card for the pricepoint.
Unless your set on an Nvidia card, look atthe R9 280 (as Onus mentioned). Its has an extra 1GB (50%) more memory than the 960 and outperforms it all around.

Overall it is newer and it probably would outperform it by a bit.
