Hi, does anyone here know of any good cpu cooler (airflow or liquid cooler doesn't matter) to over clock my fx6300 to 4.5 ghz. I was looking at either Corsair H80i or Cooler Master Seidon 120v .

Solution
cheap side hyper 212 evo will get you to 4.5~4.6 if you arent runnign super high load on them with decent voltages.

i currently run 2 220mm rads just for my cpu since mine needs a super high voltage to be stable

you really need a h100i etc for better results anything with a 240mm radiator will do with decent fans

That's a big OC for that processor, your TDP is gonna shoot through the roof. I tried to use a 120mm rad to cool a fx8350 at stock and it did not work so great. I have a 360mm radiator cooling that one now (3x120). If you go with water I would say a 240mm rad and a fan to blow air on your VRMs. If you don't know what those are, you might want to do some more research first. What motherboard are you using?

Well I ended up buying the Corsair H80 from TigerDirect (there closing all stores 20% discount). I still have to install it to my pc case but a person working there said that I should be good to overclock using this cooler upto 4.5 ghz with my cpu. Hopefully it works out good.

Let us know how it goes. Remember that AMD processors do not actually have temperature sensors in them. They use a board mounted thermocouple to give you a "socket" temp, which could be higher or lower than your actual temp. AMD overdrive is probably the most reliable for giving temperatures. It does not tell you processor temp but instead tells you how many degrees you have until the processor hits Tjunction (when it starts throttling). This number is actually estimated by a complex algorithm, so it can be off by a degree or two. Just call it quits when you have about 10c until Tjunction.
