Is there a way to turn off the power to the USB ports when in sleep mode?

So the issue is I have a blue LED strip inside my case that is powered via a USB port on the back of the motherboard. Whenever I put the computer in sleep mode, the light in the case stays and I have to unplug it (Don't want a bright LED light on all the time). I checked my Bios settings and found nothing related to USB power configurations. Its not a huge problem ,just and annoyance. Any help would be appreciated :).

Solution
You can rework your LED to power from mobo fan header (with appropriate 12v->5v step-down LM regulator). You can also check with voltmeter whether the hard drive Molex connectors are powered while in speep mode (thus avoiding the step-down regulator).
