Hey guys! I have installed an 8cm fan on my caseing side panel which blows hot air out of my caseing. Is this right or should i turn the fan around so that it blows air into the system??
Also when i turn on the pc, due to this fan, my whole caseing begins to vibrate as this fan is very fast (it is directly powered by the psu). Should this vibration damage my mobo or any other component in any way??
Thanks guys for your time reading

Solution
Don't worry about the vibration. Its nothing more than an annoyance. I wouldn't expect your temps to get out of control and yes, the cpu will protect itself if it runs too hot as will the gpu.

I didn't get it, should i adjust the fan to blow the air into tge caseing or hot air out of the caseing?? The fan pressure is very strong, it is very fast, so will the hight air pressure nit damage the system components????

Is the CPU fan blowing towards where the side panel fan is, or away from it? If blowing towards the side fan, have the side fan blow out to help the CPU fan get rid of hot air. If blowing away from the side fan, then have the side fan blow in to give the cpu fan more cool air.

Vibration has to be really bad for damage, well past just being annoying. What you can do is get some rubber grommets to put on the mounting holes to reduce the vibration and noise. Some fans come with them in the box. If you don't have any, rubber washers on both sides of the case can get almost the same effect. (Just make sure it's layered as follows, from the top of the screw: Screwhead-rubber-case-rubber-fan)

There is no place for a top fan in my case. And i have gigabyte gtx 970 which blows air off from its side in the case. And the panel fan is just parallel to my cpu and little above from the gpu.

You could do some simple tests to see what works best with your system. First download Core Temp and GPUZ. Install those to see your cpu and gpu temps. Run some benchmarks software like 3Dmark or Intel Burn Test.Try running the fan blowing in and then out and see what produces the best temps for your system. Since you don't have a fan on top, I would make it so the fan exhausts. What case are you running?

And is the fan vibration ok or will it damage my components. Also if my component temps are above normal range, will it just shutdown to save the components from cooling or will it just burn my components??
