I have an unusual problem with my new 4Tb Seagate Desktop HDD.
Once formatted, it does not allow the system to boot. It freezes in the middle of the process. But that happens on only one of my two computers, both on Windows 7 64bit, 8GB RAM.
In addition, it is the second one! I sent back the first one and Seagate sent another ... which causes the same problem.
I first suspected the hard drive, but since it works well on a second computer, the bug should come from the first computer.
I did this test: I started the computer with the HDD connected and I waited the computer freezes (15 seconds). I disconnected the HDD and the boot sequence continued immediately to the end.
Anyone have an idea?
