Okay, so, I'm going out of town tomorrow, so this is quite the urgent matter. I just moved all of my components over to a smaller case, and it was basically a nightmare. Anyway, my problem is:

When I press the power-button, my GFX cards lights turn on, and my cpu water cooling fans start rotating (but none of the other fans), and the radiator starts gurgling, for nothing but short of a second. It just promptly turns off. Mind you all of my parts worked perfectly in the last case. My mobo and processor however are new.

I have tried troubleshooting, but none of the methods work. I do not have a mobo speaker, so that is one problem. I can not test other PSUs as te one im using is the only one I have. Please give me some hints as to what it might be.

Hey there! Thanks for the reply. I did check the troubleshooting guide yes,
and even though I tried a lot of what people had replied to others before me, I couldn't find the source. My hardware is as follows:

Mobo: MSI Z97M-G43
GPU: EVGA Geforce GTX 780
CPU: Intel i5 4670K
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB 1600MHz
SSD: Samsung 840 120GB
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 2TB Green
PSU: Silver Power 650M 80 Bronze

That should be it. It's too late for me to do anytting until tuesday for me now as well. I'm also getting a mb speaker come tuesday. But will i still hear the bios beeps even if the computer only stays on for about 0.5-1 second?

Again, thanks for the reply.

I had a problem similar to this once. It turned out to be my motherboard shorting out due to, i dunno..improper contact to the case or something to that effect. Basically the mb wasn't grounded properly. Problem was solved after essentially removing the screws from motherboard to case, adjusting and reapplying. However, your problem could be a great many things. But it also could be something similar and simple such as a short.

It does sound like the motherboard is protecting itself from a short somewhere. Make sure you have all the proper stand-offs screwed in properly, and make sure you have no standoffs screwed into the case where there isn't a matching hole on the motherboard.

Alright, so you have all been really helpful. I will definitely make sure to check up on the motherboard standoff issue once i get home. I have gotten a lot of tips from several people, and I truly appreciate your help.

And, outlander, as for the psu, i believe its called SP-S650M.

Found a solution. Kind of. I hadn't plugged i. The 4x pin power connector. Now, however, the computer boots for about 5 seconds, then restarts and this goes on and on until i pull the plug.
