Upgrading a BIOSTAR A770E3 AM3 AMD 770 ATX AMD Motherboard to a GIGABYTE GA-970A-UD3P AM3+ AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard. Do I need a fresh install? Or can I just put the rig together and boot from the windows disk and repair install or just see if it will boot up? I would like to keep the hard drive data and i have a SSD that I will be installing that i was thinking about installing windows on it and having my standard HDD as storage. Any input is good, thanks.
