I have a Asus Z97-A. When I try to clean install windows 7 64 bit my key board and mouse stop working. My keyboard is wired but my mouse is a wireless Microsoft. They work in bios but not on the first screen of installation.

You might have to go to a wired mouse and possibly a P/S 2 wired keyboard to load windows.
Also,for the keyboard, try switching USB ports.
