Intel i5-3570K + AMD graphic card? Need answe asap pls.

I'm planning to upgrade my A4-6300 and buy a processor+motherboard One-day sale here as follows:

Intel i5-3570K + ECS Z77H2-A2X GL Delux edition For like 180usd

My question is

1)will it work with my Sapphire R7 240 DDR5 1gb video card or do i need to get a NVIDIA card with it?

2) Should i stick with my Sapphire R7 and just get an AMD FX 6300 proc and mobo instead?

3) Just get this newer generation for the same price?:
Intel Core i3-4160 Processor Socket 1150 3.6ghz 3m
Biostar H81mhv3 Motherboard Socket 1150 Pcie Ddr3

I thought this too but i'm no expert so I'm not really sure.

Thank You. I'll get the i5. I think they have an i7 for like 40usd more, i should just get that.

I7 has multi threading making the cpu like if it would had 8 cores for gaming the 3570k is still very good and the i7 won't be much better at gaming for now. If you plan to convert movies or edit videos then get the i7 you will benefit from the extra cores.
