Need help choosing new mobo!

So I have decided on getting another motherboard to go with my new NZXT phantom 410. My current z87-g41 seems so sketchy to me and worries me that it will fail on me soon. I have had this mobo for over a year and a half, so i don't want to risk anything.

choices:
Z97 asus maximus VII Hero
z87 asus maximus VI Hero

other choices: idk you help me.

I am pairing it off with a 4770k (planning on overclocking it) and my Gtx 980. Help?

It is another good choice. You have already picked my choice if I was building a new system. Although MSI, Gigabyte , and Asrock have made strides, I still prefer Asus motherboards. They have had the largest market share of the motherboard industry for many years. And they have some of the best features like their GUI and Fan Xpert3.

I am trusting you on this :3 i also believe asus builds quality boards as their GPU's are high end and get very few complaints. I ordered it earlier and it should be arriving in abouta week and a half! Wish me luck.
