Hello there.
Im having major problem with a dell m5030 laptop.
History: The use was limited (mostly facebook and photos incerted from camera). After two years i got the known 7 beep code.
Recent History: Reflowed north chip. After the reflow i got 2 beep code wich indicates ram fail. Reseated rams. Changed position. One ram used up. Then down. Then the other. Still get the 2 beep code. Found that possible solution to this may still be graphic chip. So i reflowed the north chip also. (no worries with the reflow.i know the procedure. it wasnt my first attempt). Tried with everything out except the audio and still the same.

I would appreciate your help.

Failed RAM can't be fixed by simply reseating it. You need to to replace it with new RAM.
If you want assurance that the RAM really is faulty before buying new, test it with Memtest86 on a bootable CD. The bootable CD image is here: http://www.memtest86.com/download.htm

Test each stick of RAM separately by having only one stick installed for each test session.
Any errors will usually be reported within the first five passes so there's no need to run it all day on each stick.

When you boot from the CD, Memtest will load & run automatically.
You can stop the test at any time by pressing the <Escape> key.

Oh, nearly forgot. If you don't have any suitable burning software you can use ImgBurn to create the CD from the image...
