MOBO replacment question

If i replace my motherboard and reinstall my OS onto my SSD (Previously on HDD) how can i erase the OS on my HDD safely? and if you have any tips for the replacement. Thanks!
 
Solution
As long as you have backed up your data you can just put the windows os installation disk inside the computer and boot to it from the bios. Then follow windows installation and format the drive. You can also make a dban disk if you want to go the extra step in removing all of the data on the hdd.
