Bought a H100 setup for my intel 4690k, the stock fans are incredibly loud even at the lowest setting.

I wanted to ask for some suggestions on replacing the fans without having to add any fan controllers.

Are there any replacement fans (quiet ones) that can be straight swapped for the stock without problems?

Noctua makes a quiet fans.

I am surprised the H100 fans are that loud. Did you plug the fans into the H100's waterblock/pump or did you plug them into your motherboard?

I personally like the H110 because it uses 140mm fans which are way quieter but you have already bought the H100 and your case may not support the 140mm fans.

the stock fans are plugged into the h100 waterblock as the instructions told me to do, im not really a pc expert but theres this constant humming noise that variates. its quite a noticeable noise... thank you for your reply jimF_35 is there any model number of those noctua fans that i should be using? the list was kinda big just to pick one out at random. i would assume i need to aim for the same airflow rate as the stock ones am i correct? the rpm of the stock ones i have no idea so im not sure which ones would suit them

Any other suggestions that might be cheaper than those? £30 per fan for a £60 water cooler seems rather extreme for cost wise, just wanted to reduce the noise a good amount but not break the bank to badly.

Any recommendations are greatly appreciated and likewise for your effort with replying :)

Look forward to your next response, Thanks Jim
