Sorry for my bad English. I'm gonna build a new PC, it's will use mini ITX board. I would like to carry it around in my backpack, so all the cases for mini ITX is not a good solution. I need to build a custom case, I can't get my hands on aluminium since I have no tools and shops nearby. I'm stuck with acrylic, which builds up lots of static electricity. Any solutions or ways to ground the charge ? Thanks.

I'm not recommending this so all I will say is I once built a PC into a wooden box but I had to make it a reasonable size for colling purposes.

With modern laptops being so much more sophisticated than some desktops, why would you not want to go down that route?.

I own a laptop already, but... the laptop is not as capable as the system I'm gonna build, and I'm on quite a budget, mainly I can use some stuff from my older PCs. Thanks for replying anyways.

what about an aluminium flight case, briefcase size? I have given this idea some thought, screen in the lid, polycarbonate cover over the mobo and components in the base... etc
but I have enough to finish already...

You would have no trouble fitting http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811108428 into a backpack. If you use 2.5" drives, you can fit up to four of them in there; I'd just use a SSD system drive and a RAID1 data pair. The only down side is you're limited to half-high graphics cards, although you did not say if this will be a gamer. Still, a GTX750 should fit, or a HD7750 (those are harder to find) which is what I did.
