I have just bought and installed a new sapphire r280 graphics card to my asus p5kpl-am motherboard. Yet when booting up the pc it freezes on he bios screen.
Previous threads regarding the rtx 770 suggests that i need to update my bios. However the problem is that when i put my old graphics card back in (to get into windows and update bios) it still freezes on the bios page. It didnt do this before as i have been interchanging my graphics cards all morning to get the new one to work (i.e. I thougt the problem might be the driver software so i put my old graphics card back in and installed the new software).
I have a 750 watt psu so that should be fine. Also 2.5 gb quadcore and 4gb ram 1033 mhz.
Any ideas?
