Used video card worth buying?

So I was looking online for used video cards and came across someone selling 2 SAPPHIRE DUAL-X R9 280X 3GB GDDR5 OC (UEFI) for one price. It said on the description that he used them for mining cryto coin. Do you guys think it's worth getting? Let me know.

I would avoid cards that were used for mining. They typically were treated poorly, and ran exceedingly hard during their use.
There is always a risk when buying used, and its typically not a large risk. When the cards were used for mining, I wouldnt bother.
