Every time I try to run a high-end game, my PC starts stuttering after about 5-10mins. The mouse lags across the screen, the sound stutters as well as the video, then I am disconnected from the internet. It's like my PC just dies. To clarify, it runs fine with some games such as WoW, LoL and CSGO; but it cannot handle newer ones such as Dying Light, Theif etc. Recently wiped everything, fresh install of everything + a new graphics card and power supply. Also all drivers are up to date, just to clarify this is not an fps problem.

Win7 64bit
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 870@ 2.93GHz (8 CPUs), -2.9GHz
8192MB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX660 Ti

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Like I said, all drivers are updated. Funnily enough I can play BF4 absolutely fine, so I don't think its a software problem

well if you can play fine for the first 5-10 minutes that makes me think your cpu may be getting too hot try cleaning out all the dust in your case unless you just built it
