I have ECS Gf8200A and Cannot find any detailed instructions on how to update the bios. I guess there is two ways to do it. One through dos and one through windows. Something about removing the jumper. but no step by step instructions. The manual that came with the motherboard instructions aren't clear.

I used the afuwin.exe file in the download from the ecs download, but I had to figure out how to use it myself. Their instructions were garbage. The way I read the instructions was you had to make a bootable disk. I just did it from windows desktop. I don't know if it was necessary or not but I removed the shunt from the cmos jumper. it worked.
