Hi dear folks! Many are the times when this forum have helped me out in my time of need, but recently i haven't found any solution to this particual problem, so here goes;

I have a MSI GP60 laptop. Recently (a week or two ago) my internet connection started acting out. The problem is as follows; I can surf the internet just as usual, but problems arise when i either try to;

1. Start steam. No connection can be made and it stops at the login page.
2. Download torrents. It just says "connecting to clients" forever, and nothing happens.
3. Play other non-steam games. The games can be started, but as soon as any connection to a server is being made, it gives messages like "no response from server".

This is driving me furious, as this laptop is made for gaming, and not being able to actually play anything is driving me nuts. I've tried things like port forwarding (and i think i did it properly). The routher is a Netgear MBR1310, which is ****, but the problem is not routerside - my roomies connection is just fine, and as im typing this im in another city, and the problem still persists.

Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated, or i think im going to throw this hunk 'o junk out of the window. Thanks!

The reason you probably aren't getting help is because you've included the fact that you are torrenting in the question. People don't like help those who use their hardware/software for illegal purposes.

The reason Netflix doesn't have an offline mode is because they aren't allowed to provide you with a license that allows you to download an infinite number of movies/tv programs a month - they don't have the rights to do so. Therefore your netflix subscription doesn't excuse the fact that you're trying to pirate it.

It's like saying that you have a ticket to a football match, so that makes it ok for you to jump on the pitch and join the game.

Alrighty then, thanks for taking your time and answering, I'll try somewhere where the horses are a little lower.
(Good thing though the porn industry got you honest, decent folks to make them go around though)
