My gaming pc lags on games even when I lower the settings!!! HELP

Hello I have a gaming pc with the following specs cpu: Intel core i5 3.5ghz
Gpu: Gtx 680ti 1gb
Every 6 months or so I have to format my pc so I can play games again. Even if lower the graphics settings It still lags very bad. I installed my motherboard's drivers today and the lag increased hugely when I updated the version I scanned the pc with Malwarebytes but there were no viruses. Please Help

Please download Speccy, click on "Graphics Card" tab and tell me what "Memory" & "Clock" speeds your GPU runs at while playing a game.

I founf the solution all I had was a bit of old paste on my cpu as soon as I removed it everything went back to normal untill now I encountered a new problem. :/

Hey there,
I just started playin paladins yesterday. The problem is even tho I have the recommended system requirements, my game still lags!!
I tried game booster, deleting temp files and cleaning disk...but nothing, still lags.
