I want to be sure I'm making a good decision.

Do all of these parts work together? Should I substitute any parts for others that would work better together?

CPU: AMD FX-8350 4.0GHz 8-Core Processor ($162.75 @ OutletPC)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler ($28.98 @ OutletPC)
Motherboard: MSI 970 GAMING ATX AM3+ Motherboard ($99.98 @ OutletPC)
Memory: Kingston Savage 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3-2133 Memory ($75.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Storage: Seagate 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Hybrid Internal Hard Drive ($78.98 @ OutletPC)
Video Card: MSI GeForce GTX 970 4GB Twin Frozr V Video Card ($329.99 @ Newegg)

Anything that I should really consider changing?

Also in your opinion which OS should I use?

Solution
If I were you I'd get the FX-8320 ($130) or the FX-8320E ($100), they are clocked lower but they can be overclocked. While I do own that power supply I'd recommend getting a modular more beefier one to suit your needs for about $60.

I'd recommend windows 7 or 8, these will get the free windows 10 upgrade.
