Is my computer lactose intolerant?

So I was playing BF4 on my gaming rig the other day and I also was drinking a cold glass of milk. While I was playing, a tank shot my legs out from under me and startled me and I knocked my milk all over my gaming rig that was resting on the floor. I turned off my computer real fast so that nothing bad would happen to it and noticed that a good amount of milk got into the case and on the components. Ever since then my computer makes lots of noises when running and sometimes shuts down unexpectedly. Is my computer lactose intolerant? HELP!!!

My specs:
AMD 4350
Radeon R9 280
ASUS motherboard
CS850M

Thanks for your help

You cannot have your computer on if something gets spilt on it. You should clean it up fully and wait a day at least for it to dry. Im suprised it didnt ruin all the parts instantly. You got at least a bit lucky.

So how do I tell if it is lactose intolerant or not? Would it be fine to keep running it?

no it is not safe to have it on. clean all the parts and wait a few days for it to dry.

if you ever spill anything on your pc, turn it off immediately, remove all the liquid you can, and then you will need to let all that moisture evaporate. Disasembling the components will help. Clean any contacts with electronic contact cleaner if any liquid has gotten to them. Milk is not overly corrosive but if you spray down any affected areas with contact cleaner that would be ok. If it has gotten inside the psu, well its probably stuffed, a new psu isnt too expensive at least.

The milk dried, and left behind a lot of solids. You need to clean that stuff out.

How?
Take it ALL apart. Clean. Clean off the cleaning solution. Let it dry for a day or two.

Or, you could keep running it and allow something to blow up.

Are you sure? A few months ago my 4 year old put a piece of toast in my wife's laptop fan grill and when I took it to the technician he said that her laptop shouldn't have toast in it. That would generally mean gluten free right?

Is my computer lactose intolerant?

hahahaha, you still have sense of humor after what happened to your pc.
Just let it air dry, not under the sun then thats the only time you can evaluate the damage

Milk + air dry + power on = broken PC

Pour a little puddle of milk on your kitchen counter. Let it dry.
See what's left? That is what is inside the PC.....:(

I know right. It's like some people now and days just don't have any respect for the serious disease that has taken over the bodies of millions of people around the world.

This thread can and will be shut off, or people banned, if silliness escalates.

Computers are intolerant of most liquids. If you wish to cool your computer using a waterfall, you will need to invest in some mineral oil or Fluorinert.

At least it'll not corrode the components. Milk is a buffer, it is usually advised to pour milk on acid burns till it stops curdling. You'll have to clean it all out nonetheless. And DON'T EAT OR DRINK ANYTHING NEAR A COMPUTER!
At least it was not a laptop. If it were a laptop, then it would have bluescreened and... RIP.
I'm not kidding.
