so i want to build pc so that i can work on this softs smoothly.
kindly suggest which cpu will be better amongs the following:-
1. Intel I5 4670k
2. Intel I5 4690k
3. AMD FX 8350
or any other will be best i don't want to go for I7 because it wil be very costlier because i am from india.
Kindly suggestion required.
Thank you.

Motherboards don't really impact performance, but since the fx 8350's voltage regulation is done by the motherboard, you'll need one with strong vrms. A 990fx board is strongly suggested. As for ram, you'll probably want at very least 16gb That is, for three at once.
If you're looking to run vmware and i7's are out of the question you're probably better off with the fx 8350. Even though the cores don't perform as well it does have 8 cores and that's what vm's use to run. Especially when looking to run more than one, the extra processor cores will be better in this situation.

but when i checked with online benchmarks intel i5 4690k performs far more better than amd fx 8350.
that's the reason i am confused because i can pay some extra for i5 but if its worth.

What were the benchmarks for? Different cpu's are good for different things. If the benchmark was for gaming or for raw performance in programs, then sure the i5 performs better. Intel cpu's process more instructions per ghz than amd does. What you're talking about doing is running virtual machines which are basically an emulator within the same pc. In order for a virtual machine to run, it needs it's own core(s) so you're sharing your physical cores among the virtual machine(s). The more virtual machines you have running at one time, the more cores you'll need to support them all. Unless vmware has changed drastically I would think more physical cores (along with good amounts of ram) would handle multiple vm's better than a 4 core cpu. An i5 will handle a virtual machine, but I think if you tried running several vm's on an i5 performance would suffer.

Maybe someone else has some insight here?
