Are these components compatible with each other?
-Intel Core i7-4790K
-ASRock Z97 Extreme 6
-ASUS STRIX-GTX970-DC2OC-4GD5
I am trying to build a pc capable of running the latest games without any problems and also to edit some videos. And in addition I want it so that I can upgrade it in the future when I can afford the new processors and GPUs. Thanks in advance.

Solution
Looks good but it depends if your other components are quality aswell really. Make sure to post your PCPartPicker build here after you're done.

NVM guys. I found http://pcpartpicker.com/, it determines if the parts I'm planning to buy for now are compatible with each other.. I hope These components are future proof especially the mobo.

Alright guys here are the components I will buy soon:
CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Nepton 280L 122.5 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
Mobo: ASRock Z97 EXTREME6 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory will upgrade these upto 32gb after I save enough money
GPU: Asus GeForce GTX 970 4GB STRIX Video Card will upgrade this to titan in the far future :)
Case: Corsair Air 540 ATX Mid Tower Case
Power supply: EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply

I have an ancient PC and I will focus first on buying Mobo, processor and GPU. Since I can swap my old RAM as temporary component while saving for an 8gb or directly jump to 32gb. Thanks for your input guys

Some components you selected are questionable. I have selected 2x8 here but if you wish you can change that to 2x4 again. The 280L is not impressive for the price, the NEX 650w (Most likely B1/G1 you selected) are not the quality the B2/G2 series provide so I've changed that aswell. Case wise, I say Enthoo Pro because It's cheaper than yours but is a better all-a-round case.

You won't ever need 32GB RAM to be fair, 16 is overkill.

@RCFProd Thanks so much!I will be looking for those parts my self as I am in Asia. Though I can order those and have it delivered in the residence of one of my relatives in the US. But I hate to bother them and that will take a while. You have helped me so much. God bless and good day to you Sir.
