Which build is more worth the money?

It is a small difference indeed, but I would like to know which should I go with. This is getting me so confused since I love to play games like Counter-Strike: Global Offensive which is very CPU intensive compared to how other games like Battlefield that I am looking into are more GPU intensive. What is your opinion on these two?

Solution
I would personally go with the second build for the overclocking capabilities of the i5 4690k. As far as the GTX970 vs r9 290, they are pretty close to the same in performance. The r9 290 is cheaper but uses more power, which you already know I'm sure. If you do go with the first build then you can drop to a cheaper board since the normal 4690 is locked and can't be over clocked.

What about this build? Similar to your second build except with a better quality psu and an r9 290x which is closer to a gtx 970 than the 290 for $10 more than your original price.

Better alternarives for the 200/300R are the Graphite 230T and the NZXT S340. The 300R is simply not so great either.
