MoBo: Asus Maximus VII Hero
CPU: I5-4690k
GPU: EVGA GTX 970 FTW+
PSU: HX750i

Will my PSU be enough for a second EVGA GTX 970 FTW+? I tried looking around at PSU calculators, but they are all saying my system can be run at 500W which I know is way off.. Any insight will be appreciated. Thank you

Solution
No, he's right. A good 750W can power nearly all single GPU cards. You won't be able to run two 295 or the other "x2" cards, and those 300W cards like the 290(X) will have issues as well. But it's plenty for two 970s.
