My case has had a faulty power switch for a while now, and I've been using whatever metal I can to start it until I have the time to search for a new case.
This morning, I used a screw to start it, but I didn't notice a nut on the screw which made it wider. So when I tried to touch the pins with the screw, the nut touched a pin in jfp2 which is right next to it. I saw a bright spark near the screw. I then took the nut out of the screw and tried to start it but there's no response.
Have I destroyed my motherboard or is there still any chance of saving it?
I really need my computer back, so please anyone tell me how to fix it. Thanks!
