I have win 7 installed on my pc and I wanted to install xp on it, so i shrinked drive D and made a new partition E , for xp installation. When i boot up xp installation and i need to pick a partition for
xp installation, i pick E , but i get a message saying : "drive C is unformatted, damaged, or formatted with a file system that is incompatible with windows xp. To continue installing win xp, setup needs to format this drive". But I cant format drive C because i have win7 installed on it.
What can I do?

Ughh, i accidentally clicked to pick your answer as a solution.
The question is : can I have dual boot of those 2 systems ?
Yeah, I'll try virtual box right now.

there you go, i have unselected the answer
- yes, you can have dual boot, virtual box lets you make virtual machines (run your xp from within win7).
