Netflix Samsung Smart TV not working Software Upgrade

Samsung Smart TV trying to run Netflix. Netflix is asking for software upgrade. I tried that and it's not working.
Internet connection is working even if I change DNS to 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4.
Netflix does not get past the software upgrade red screen.
Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

I checked. All software is up to date.

I called Samsung and they pointed me to an online update to software. My tv was taking wrong software. So I downloaded the correct version onto usb and installed. Works great!

Glad you were persistent. I have a Sharp and so far it has updated three times. Hopefully the off-line update corrected the online update capability.

Yes! Go to Samsung.com and download the zip folder T-GASFAKUC.exe onto USB drive.
Go to USB drive and double click to unzip onto usb drive
Turn on tn
Insert use into TV
Press menu/support/software upgrade and then by usb
Scanning will occur
Validate firmware upgrade
Ok
Tv turns on off a couple of times. Let it cycle
Turn off tv one more time
Turn on and it will I stall Netflix
Log into Netflix

Thanks, DDLama! The T-GASAKUC (Upgrade File ver.1032.0) update from Samsung.com worked right away. Note: After the USB update was complete, I had to go to "Settings" in Smart Hub and Reset.

Mine works, however, I have to log in each time. Some idiot programmer evidently does not use the service. It is a pain in the ass to log in each time on a TV remote. It needs to stay logged in. WTF?!?

I've done as suggested and downloaded the software update to a thumbdrive. The tv reads that it's there, but when it goes to "upgrade" it goes to 3% and then stops. Says that it has failed to upgrade. Any help would be appreciated.

I went into samsung's web page and into the chat. They asked me my info, called me, connected remotely and fixed it!!

Hi DDLama,
Hope you are doing well. I too have a Samsung smart TV in my living room space. Some times I have to face the problems. Now I have learnt to deal with the problems. I can give you some ideas .

First login to Net fix from your computer. Then sign out from all the other operating devices. Then try to set the default for router or you can also remove any Uno telly DNS from your smart TV.

You can reset your TV to smart hub. Then first mute your tv , make the volume up and again mute the tv and change the smart hub region to net fix region.

This has always worked on my Samsung smart tv . If this not works, although it should . But if not then try changing the your smart hub region to UK. This will then definitely produce no error at my end. . Open Smarthub so that all the old apps are deleted.

You can change Smarthub country to UK and then click there for instructions. Open Smarthub again, allow Netflix to install. once you are done with it just make sure "Auto update apps" is DISABLED. Then again open the App and it should work definitely.
