What do I look forward on an ssd for gaming? What brand is recommended? Is there a difference between types of ssd's?

I know the basic faster performance of an ssd especially faster boot up, but what I'm looking forward is what TYPE of ssd should I buy. Is there like "specific frequencies" like how ram works or they all work the same? I rely mostly on corsair or samsung ssd's but if there is a different brand that you guys can recommend, then I'm more than happy to know. :)

I'm planning to get a 1tb of ssd for games btw and I'm running windows 8.1

Also where would I get one at a cheaper price?

yes, defintly. you dont want to but it and then it doesnt work. on his point. if it is alittle out of budget maybe try a 250 gb or 500gb and then get another HDD, but i asume you one of the lucky ones who can get a 1tb. enjoy
