As everybody told me that my old pc won't work very smoothly with ubuntu 14.04 with just 1gig of ram so today I bought 2 sticks, each of 2gigs,so a total of 4GBs of ram. both sticks are from the same manufacturer and of same frequency (800 MHz). After installing those RAM my ubuntu system booted within few seconds (as I have Samsung 850 Evo ssd) and it was running amazing for 5 minute. After testing for 5 minute I left my room and when I came back my pc was off. my pc is not starting since then. The heat sink fan spins for few seconds and then it goes down. I have checked my motherborad specification and it can support 4GB RAM of 800 MHz (http://www.gigabyte.in/products/product-page.aspx…).
What you think might be the problem? I already did paper clip test with my power supply and my psu seems to be alright because it can spin my chasis fans on paper clip test. I even tried to start computer with my old 1GB Ram and it's not starting.

I also reset the bios by removing the CMOS battery for about 10 minutes and then replacing it.

One thing I wanna tell you, when I removed my heatsink fan I noticed that I was running it without any thermal compound. Do you think it's possible that my processor heated up and burned? or my motherboard?
