It would be useless getting one because of the bottleneck. Yes it work on your mobo given that your case can hold it but the bottleneck would be huge.

If u are lolzing me after saying that then you have completely no idea about what u are getting into.
A gtx 960 requires 29 amps on the +12 watt rail while your generic 500rs psu provides just 19 amps on the +12 watt rail.

Your generic psu us made of the cheapest materials found in the market and is the most unreliable psu that I have ever come across.
But as you said that gtx 960 only recommends 400w.
well its your rig and you have every right to blow it up in your face.
BTW The psu that Frontech 450 does not even provides power anywhere near that number..
We will see when you will comeback on the forum saying "Don't know what to do PSU wrecked the system LOLD"

gtx 960 uses 120 watts

Where did you get the current (amperage) information from? please post a link, on nvdia I couldn´t find anything about that, just the wattage
e.g. GT730 (23W - 49W)

So this card needs 49W / 12V max. 4.1A

gtx960:
120W / 12V max. 10A

these are just the graphics card needs
additional components like mobo , CPU, HDD,.. are also 12V powered.

It isnt just the graphic card that the power supply need to handle. It powers your CPU, Your mobo,RAM, HDD's, Disk drive fans your key board etc etc

And the site from where you took down this info did definitely not keep in mind about dust cheap, no good, generic PSU made with very super low quality capacitors. So for ur own good buy a better PSU :pfff:

Do u really think that a750 ti or as a matter of fact a gt 740 will have the same power requirement as the gtx 960 has.
And as a matter of fact there is no GTX 740 or a GTX 730

By the way, the zebronic PSU doesn´t even have a PCIe 6Pin connector to power GTX960.

this PSU may have insufficient or non existing safety features inside.
